Solar air conditioner consists of solar PV panels and DC inverter air conditioner only, which is driven directly by solar PV panel array during day time & by grid in evening.
1.1 Sunny day:
In sunny day, solar air conditioner is mainly powered by solar energy, and assisted by utility grid. Solar energy directly drives DC inverter air compressor inside and offers more than 95% electricity consumed by air conditioner for normal operation.
1.2 Cloudy day:
In cloudy day, solar air conditioner is powered by both of solar energy and utility grid. Solar energy directly drives DC inverter air compressor inside and offers more than 75% electricity consumed by air conditioner for normal operation.
In the evening, solar air conditioner is powered by utility grid alone, and solar PV system takes break.
Variable frequency inverter inside the aircon can adjust the speed of air compressor gently, without frequent stop and start like ordinary air conditioner does, and can quickly cool down or warm up room temperature providing comfortable and harmonious environment besides saving much energy.
